Guards Red- 1985.5 Porsche 944
Another Hybrider...
Hey guys... I live in Raleigh, NC. I figured I'd do a little bit of research on how I'll be "tweaking" my future LS1 once I get my car converted, and hopefully obtain one from someone either on this board or via ebay. I have a 1985.5 Porsche 944 that's dying to get a transplant... I'm highly interested in the LS1 and hope to modify to around 380-400 tq (which I know is very easy to do...) I've been laying out the plans for this car for over a year now. At the moment I'm saving to move out of the apartments, into a house with a garage, and then finally finish up the conversion. I'm looking at getting the engine done in about 3 years, (there's other areas of the car that need attention before I even think about droppin that v8 in there...) I've gotten quite a bit of flack about throwing a chevy block in a Porsche, but that'll only be because they're afraid i'll keep beatin' em to the finish line Don't know what else to say other than this is an excellent community, I've heard great things about this board, and I'm happy to finally be a part of it.
