i was drivin home tonight and stopped at a light and a 04 srt 10 stopped next to me. he looked over at me and signaled that he wanted to go. i thought i was gonna get my ass handed to me,thinkin v10 viper engine well of course i took his offer and launched at about 1500, he got a little jump on me but i caught up to him and at about 90 i only had about half a car length on him, that S.O.B. was FAST! we went from a roll at about 20 and same thing, we pulled over in an empty lot and shot the shit for a min and then went home, danm nice truck whoever you were

I'd be more affraid of a lightning then a srt 10. They look nice, but are not that fast.

From a dig you'd think the srt-10 would have major traction probs....did you spin bad also?

An SRT-10 runs 14.2 stock. They have power, but they also have weight problems. I'm w/ the guy uptop, I'd be more afraid of Lightning's...

Torrid Red- 05 GTO
Those trucks are tricky things, the more power = the more traction problems. Plus there is that whole weight thing.

Umm...if this was a four door SRT10, then wait a minute. The Dodge Ram SRT-10 also comes in a two door and there is a big difference in their ETs due to extra curb weight. The two door style runs at least a 13.8 stock.
Ford Lightin's deserve respect, but don't cont the SRT-10 out so quickly...
Check these -dodge.com/srt-10/ and -allpar.com/model/ram/ram-srt-10.html and -trucks.about.com/cs/dodgeramsrt10/a/ram_srt10.htm
