    Power steering help!

OK I have 1998 Camaro SS and this now has been my second time replacing my power steering pump in less then a year! Driving me nuts! I've replaced the hoses, flushed and bled the system each time. I just put the new pump in last week 8/8 and I took it out for a quick 30 mile drive to check it out and the pump was resevior was almost empty when I took my first stop. So I refilled and when I got back home it was half empty. Refilled once again! Also the fluid looks very milky and I've been reading some forums here about a power steering oil cooler but i'm not sure if mine even has one. Can someone please help me before I go crazy. Thanks

One thing I ran into, was there is an o-ring between the pump and the
resevoir. When I changed mine I didn't notice that it had stayed on the
old pump, and it leaked like a sieve. If you don't see any external leak,
then it has to be going inside somewhere. Check the color of your radiator
fluid, if it looks the same as the ps fluid, chances are they are mixing.

    Power steering

Do you happen to know how and where it might be mixing?

    Thanks

I'm not too familuar with the 98s but going off my limited know how, the cooler could be in the lower rad hose, lookes like peice of pipe with a flanged joint in the middle, or in one of the tanks on the rad, either way if your getting cookant in you power stearing, your getting oil in your coolant system.

check for leaking boots on your power steering rack. sometimes they will actually balloon full of power steering fluid, if you have this problem, or a leak in the rack in general it will definitely have a good chance of blowing the pumps out or making noise in general in regards to steering. take a look at the rack bro.
