If the DRL's still light up when the headlamps are on there's a problem in the actual circuit. Could be the DRL logic box. Or yeah, it could be a bad wire going to the socket. Check your fuses to start with. Make sure nothing is burnt out, then check if you have voltage coming through the sockets when the e brake is off and the DRL's should be on.

start simple. check your grounds, i had a loose ground wire one time that was playing havoc on everything.
then check connectors, look anywhere that stuff moves, that might of crushed or snagged one.
check bulbs, a burnt out fillament that is draping across the other fillament is always a fun one.
if you cant find anything wrong here then check complex stuff. nothing will piss you off more than replacing a $300 computer when it was something as simple as a loose connector.

Gawd I went through it with them damn drl's
I had a similar problem and it was a bad socket.
If you go to a junk yard you should be able to snip some off the tail end of another bird(easier to find than a TA with drl's) as they are the same as the drl's I believe.
Other than that you will be looking at 60 bucks a piece to replace them, unless you can get a deal on them.
Try some socket cleaner first and clean the chit outa them and then put some dielectric grease in them.
I was popping bulbs as fast as I could put them in though and just got new sockets.
If you dont have a junk yard nearby LMK and I can swing by one for you on thursday and pick up a couple I'm sure.

Redphoenix1998 brought up the ebrake and made me have an idea. I don't know where it is, but check the switch that tells the DRL's to come on when you disengage the brake. Could be as simple as the switch is jammed. Or I could be completely wrong as I don't yet know how that switch functions. I haven't had a need to look at it, yet.
