So this ricer pulls up along side me this fine evening...
...while I'm on my way home from work. This dude barrels through traffic and comes up to me on my left (I'm in the center lane). There are 3 other doofuses in the car cheering this guy on (it was some kind of Mitsubishi I think, I didn't really look any closer because I didn't really care).
I'm obviously not that smart a guy. If I was, I'd be clear on what I was expected to do when he put on his hazards and sped up to 100+ mph. He then cut over 4 lanes to make an exit at the last possible second.
I'm sure there's some movie I should have seen that would clarify the "blinking light protocol"....
I drive fast, but this loser was driving in such a way that I'll probably be reading about him in the paper in a few days.

Yeah, I haven't kept up with the changes over the years. I always thought that throwing a few revs back and forth was how the "real men" communicated. Apparently now, they flash lights instead to make sure that they draw attention to as many people as possible.
I must officially acknowledge that I'm getting old. When I was a kid, we used to think it was fun to put baseball cards between the spokes on our bikes to make that flapping sound. Now, I always recall those day whenever I see hear ricers sounding the same revving their 400hp 1.5L engines.
FWIW, at the track, I give props to any car that performs regardless of make, engine, etc. However, on the street ricers generally seem to be nothing more than pollution in the gene pool.
After seeing the first, I could not bear to see any of the others in that list.
