Question about 88 tail lights

I have an 88 trans am and a my yellow blinker part of tail lights stay on when the lights are on, blinkers works just stays yellow under the break light. I got pulled over and the cop said it should not be like that i havent seen another car like mine to check it out i dont think she was correct can someone help me out please!

definitly shouldnt be staying on like that. Check the bulb to make sure its good and in properly. Check to make sure the wiring around it isnt chafed and touching anything else.
