Black- 1998 Camaro Z28
Wish list for the Next Camaro...
Here are my ideas...
1) The base model will have a strong enough V6 to sell a ton of them in order to make GM a nice profit so that they can continue to market Camaros.
2) The Z28 will have the LS2 or 2008-equivilent of the base corvette engine.
3) The SS will have the LS7 engine from the current Z06; 505 HP. By then, the Z06 should have even more power...
4) It will have a quality interior.
5) Hopefully it WON'T have the same crappy turn signal lever that feels like it's going to snap off and break every time you use it.
6) The rotors will NOT need turning or replacement within the first 10k miles.
7) The passenger-side window motor will NOT burn up right after the warranty expires...
8) Piston slap will be a thing of the past...
9) Lose the egg-crate grille and put something more agressive in the grille area.
Okay, now let's hear your suggestions for Chevrolet.

Black, Blue- 07 TBSS, 07 GSXR1000
Different mirrors.
Flatter rear instead of the point.
1 piece tailights.
Inset the grille a little more like the 1st gens.

Looks to me like they brought a caddy designer over to design it. Im not saying it doesnt look good but i think they should smooth out some of those straight edges...to keep some similar lines with the previous year models... anyone else, or am I the only one who thinks that? Doesnt it look like that new two seater caddy, I cant remember the model name...?

You guys are forgeting something... the weak rear end has to go.
The rear tail lights need to match the 69 style, not two light like the 67, 68's do.

something along the lines of supercharged 3800 for the base model, LS2 for the Z28, and LS7 for the SS(that way every model has appeal)
GM needs to do little things to lessen chassy flex... if it's like 3rd or 4th gens.
NICER INTERIOR(stronger parts also): seat belt loops, AC controls, window motors, maybe a tad bit quieter interior(hopefully it won't be a constant squeak after 60k miles lol
And above all try to keep the price down or at least make sure people get what they pay for.

I agree with everyone's input thus far. Here's my additions.
-some form of tear drop tail light. That's a Camaro signature
-how bout non ricerish, huge tail pipe ends
-where are my T-Tops? will be hard to do with that roof line.
-a 12 bolt rear end
-NO IRS WHATSOEVER!!!
-Can we get speakers that don't blow when you turn it up to be heard over the sound of the exhaust?

oh god. If they don't have t-tops it would actually be difficult for to me consider buying the car. I wouldn't see why they wouldn't if the car is a released. You guys have to remember this is just a concept and a lot of changes are made by the final result.

Another vote for IRS.
No V6 version.

They have to have a V6 version so they can meet C.A.F.E. regulations and avoid a gas guzzler penalty fleet wide.

I don't know about you guys, but I think they REALLY need to get rid of that dumb ass hump where the passenger's feet go. You know, the one that the cat is under. Other than that I think that car looks bad ass. The base level Camaro should have stock LT1 or LS1 performance out of a more fuel efficient V6, the Z28 model should have slightly less performance/power than the base model Corvette of that year, and the SS model should have performance/power half way between the base Corvette and the top of the line model Corvette of that year. That way the top of the line Vette is still substantially faster.
