lq9 6.0l block
what is the best year and model of vehical to get one from. i will be getting a new one from gm. what is the strongest? going to build a 408 with a turbo.

Mine is a 2004 block.
One thing to watch out for is the head bolt depth.
That varies. Newer years are the shallow ones.
