Air Lids
I recently bought the ws6 hood and plan on doing the "free mod" but what I'm wanting to know is who do ya'll think has the best lid?
Should I go with the lifted lid that makes the ram air funcitonal?
i know the biggest problem with the stock ws6 setup is that it doesn't seal air tight and I want to get the best lid I can.
And yeah i'm sure that this has been posted before but I searched and didn't find anything definitive.

you wont find a lid that seals tight with the hood, its just a "directional" ram air, as far as the best lid, they are all relitively the same, i got the MTI pack, it came with*a K&N filter, K&N cleaning*kit, smooth*bellows, and the lid, i felt a huge difference with åll of those restricitve baffles in the stock one

My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
i don't know the name of the kit, but there is one out one out there [not a lid], it's basically a piece of weatherstriping/foam that will seal the hood to the airbox. That will keep air from spewing around once it passes your nostrils.
as said though, any lid is good. Some people prefer the clearlids b/c it lets you see your filter and look down your air intake.
