    Knocking Noise @ 5000 Rmp. What Can It Be?

    Hey guys I was out for a ride the other day and was just messing around with my car and I was in third gear and just stepped on it. When i reached about 500 rmp i started to hear this knocking noise. I happened again in fourth gear what can this be? I would really appriciate the input.

    Correction

    It started to happen @ 5000RPM and not 500.

    Ummmm...knock maybe Do you have a data logger to see if you're getting any knock retard?
