If your sub's cone is slamming into the back of the trunk area you can kiss it goodbye. Eventually the voice coil will detach from the cone and then you're screwed.

That's an inch? It looks like it's almost touching now in the photo. How do you have the box anchored to the car?

it has an L bracket mounted to the power top motor mount and the side sits on trunk floor.

You NEED a passenger side stealth box asap!!! Check www.subthump.com . It's $116.00 delivered new and is VERY nice. I was fortunate enough to grab one from a member of LS1tech.com. It would sound 100X better than your current setup. I am NOT trying to rag on you because I know how hard it is for vert owners to get good sound out those cars but that can't work real well compared to a stealth enclosure. If not see if you can make one...I have the dimensions.

looks like ghetto install to me.. If you wanna keep your trunk space great but to smash your sub against the back of the tail lights in the corner is a waste.. after a while of play you will eventually vibrate that tail light loose then have to take the entire back apart to fix it or replace your bulbs

you could have easily put the sub at the top firing towards the trunk lid and have the box built down into the hole .. like most people do
