Kinda takes away gas mileage though...which is part of it being a daily driver I would think.

G6 cars look really nice. The G5 looks like a cobalt with a pontiac emblem. Drive both and see what you like. I don't think the G5 is worth paying 20 grand or more though.

If you don't get a S/C cobalt then you might as well get a aveo and save a bit more.

My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
a friend Of mine got a pontiac Vibe 2.2 or 2.4 for like 14k and he gets great milage. It's just fwd, but 4 doors + a hatch area isn't bad when you think about it

I looked at the Vibe, it only has 128hp, but it does get great gas mileage. Something around 30 city and 36 highway. But I like the 173hp of the G5 for getting around town. And I already have an SUV to haul stuff.

I had a vibe and it ate tires after only 15,000 miles and the engine is way too small for the claimed mpg. I also tried the cobalt and was not impressed. I have the V6 G6 now and cannot belive the room, ride and better mpg than the other 2. I can average about 36 mpg with the G6 on a 250 mile trip I take often. way above the sticker and the 4cyl. with 4 people and the truck full going between 70 and 75!
