    Mexican killed my car

Tech guys in here-learning about wifi

So i ordered DSL today and i want to hook all my shit up. It was the fastest speed they had (3mb) I had a cable modem before but i never did the wi-fi route and i just plugged it into my computer. This time i want to wi-fi it into my computer and my xbox 360. The reason i want to go wi-fi is that my computer is in a room with no phone jacks (i don't understand it either) plus i want to figure it out as a learning experience.

I'm getting a non wi-fi modem from the DSL company. My computer doesn't have wi-fi currently either.

I just want to make sure i got this right....

My phone cord goes from the wall into my dsl modem that they sent to me. I'll use an Ethernet cable to go from the modem to This router. The router than sends a signal to this thing plugged into my computer and to this thing plugged into the back of my xbox. Now once i get the xbox live gold card everything will be hooked up and ready to go right or am i missing something? Also how good is DSL for the 360?

you pretty much got it. it might hose up a couple times but you just need to restart the MODEM first, then restart the ROUTER.

    Sweet

I used to be very tech savvy but that last few years i really just haven't paid attention to this kind of stuff. Well, i guess it's been more than a few years.
