Just stick with the lid and put the money towards another bolt-on.

The slp lid + K&N filter. Do the throttle body bypass, Then get long tubes (headers that is), off road y, and exhaust.

No that isn't what he ask about. I don't own a SLP anything. However I do run the FAST TOYS RAM AIR and yes you can tell a difference in your trap speed at dragstrip and I also picked up about 2 MPG on the interstate with the cruise set. If you don't want to believe me go to WWW.Installuniversity.com and read the technical article on the FTRA. Anything you do to your car that picks the VE of your engine will increase your HP. While your in the site you might want to look at the SLP AIT bullshit resistor post. K & N Filters don't flow any better than the paper one do. You not gonna pickup any power by bypassing the T.B..its all in your Head!
These URBAN LS1 LEGENDS crack me up sometimes.Last edited by PFM; 08-17-2007 at 07:46 AM. Reason: add

i have the slp flowpac cai package & i like iti have no dyno #`s to show what rwhp increase is attainable, maybe 10???looking at the set-up once installed it appears that it should function xactly as advertised(dont xpect the high slp hp estimates of course)

I had the SLP CAI, but now I just have the lid, took that piece of aluminum out... made no noticeable difference with it in or out, not even at the track.
NHRAMAN, is that speaking from experience with the flying bird...lol.
