The headers up top are stainless, Pacesetters are not. The stainless ebay headers are great, I have them. Their y pipe fits like poo however.

Huh? I had a custom Y made. Their y pipe fits like ass. I read about it on LS1 Tech all the time. The factory y wont fit long tubes.

those are the famous headers from ls1tech. literally hundreds of people have bought them on there. they are great for the money. i got a deal on them direct from the manufacturer for $475 shipped. they look awesome with great welds. i haven't installed them yet but it will happen soon!

They look like race headers, in that they do not have the A.I.R. fitting welded to the tubes. Not a big deal if you are going to do an A.I.R. delete. They look a lot better without the fitting. Wish mine were like those.

I bought a set of these on ebay but was before he made a y pipe for them. mine rattle a little at idle but nothing very bad. they have been on my car now for about 10 months now with no major issues.

The drivers side collector Is pointed up to high and hits the floor board. You can even see it in the pic with the headers and y pipe put together. Look at the header flanges the dont line up with each other one leans back and one is flat. I was originally planning on getting these but I have seen to many with fitment issues. i will be buying my set of header from New Era. They have a sale going on right now on the pacesetters and ory pipe.

give me a second and i will take a couple of pics. they have turned that nice golden color that SS headers tarnish into over time. when i had the heads installed, i had them cut off and weld close the EGR/AIR provisions...

as for fitment issues, my went right in and the header flanges were not warped. my drivers side though while tucked up high, does not make contact with my floor board...

i realize that these headers are hit and miss with some of our cars, however not everything about them is bad. i have been very pleased with these headers on my car. did i take a gamble by going with these particular headers, YES, i did. but for me and in my opinion it was worth it...

I didnt say the flanges were warped but you can see in the pick were one is facing level to the ground and the other one has a slight tilt to it. Which would mean that once you get them installed that the one wold be aiming up towards the floorboard. I would rather buy these as they are stainless but after reading about more people having fitment issues then not I think I will stick with the tried and true pacesetters.
