rental car trashing

please tell stories about rental car trashing!
my lincoln rental had 250 miles on it, i drove it 7 miles and it caught on fire burning on the side of the road. it had nothing to do with the 0-60 speed i was trying to achieve.

I've only had one problem with a rental car. About 10 years ago my brother and myself went fishing while on vacation and let a tube of crickets loose in the trunk of a rented Grand Prix. They were some chirping SOB's.

200 shot on a echo.

hauled some pretty good ass.

plugged up the intake hole with wall patch and painted it.....returned it with some piston ring smoke and it missing from low idle.

i went to california last week and flew thru the desert and saw all that sand. gave me an idea! when i landed i changed my rental car sedan for a new jeep commander! needless to say i went off roading and brought it back just ingulfed in sand and tumbleweeds.

the crazy thing was that the fontana police were sitting in the place i came out at, all i got was looks, i waved and drove off.

it showed a GT Mustang what was up on the street. not by much but it surprised the hell out of the guy.

We work w/ National car rental. so if they found out we were fuckin w/ the PCM, they would ruin our business rep. and personally kick our asses.

Besides, we dont have the time to do that shit if we change cars every day or 2

we had this rental GMC ext. cab truck 5.3 liters.Poured oil on the back tires!Man o man! tons of fun, literally.burnouts...looong smoky burnout!both tires were roasted....
