Ok, i looked at it VS the concept...the biggest difference is the fender flare on the rear quarter-it's virtually absent on the production prototype...or it's just too white to see it

i'm still not sold on it

Sweet!
It is about time for the mule spy pics to be online!
I have never heard of that site though.
Is it one of Sarge's domain names?

They have definitely brought the back end in some from the concept pics.

yup, the lack of "flare" from the door to the rear quarters is making it look like a Monte Carlo

The bottom pic has more of a vette aggressive look. The top pic has more of a dodge charger appeal.

i don't find the charger appealing, to say the least

looks like they got rid of the cowl style hood as well. that's a good thing in my opinion though...make it an option on the z not the stock hood.

that look could be due to the lower quality of the image as well as the color of the car and the angle at which it was taken.

are you talking about the top of the fender near the trunk and the portal window or are you talking about on the concept car where there is the "creased" line that runs down the length of the door at the bottom to the rear quarter? i can see where they removed the lines at the bottom which sucks but probably has to do with lower cost production and side impact safety...but the upper portion of the quarter i believe it appears they left in tact.

They've de-emphasized the curves some on the sides.

okay yeah...that's what i thought you were talking about after i looked closely at it. i have a feeling that that was done for side impact requirements. and because gm is retarded like that to dick with a great looking concept.

A lot of it had to be changed to comply with federal requirements. However, please understand that this is a test mule and is nothing more. It is in australia and the plant that will be producing these is in canada.
