did every car come with a AMP? i have the mosoon

Not all came with the Monsoon system - base systems do not have a separate amp.

Cannot easily upgrade and there is no reason at all to if you plan on keeping factory speakers. It's difficult to replace them amp without losing some things since the amp is runs at mixed impedances and has some signals which are filtered.

Did you build a box around the subs, or does the enclosed area behind the subwoofer act as the sub box??

I'm having a 10" installed, and we're going to try and use the sealed compartment behind the subwoofer as the box. The sub is mounted in a custom fitted MDS board that slides into the drivers side compartment, with weatherstripping around it and the plastic cover acting as the top of the box.

Actually, I bought the sub boxes pre-made. Sounds great.

you got it, im trying to make a box to fit my solo baric L5 square speaker now in the spare section but if that doent work i also have a mtx 8000 for that custom side box
