    computer wizards - any way to watch videos which are on my computer on my tv?

    i have some tv shows i downloaded and they don't burn good to dvd, so i want to wireless stream them to my tv. is there some kind of device that can do this? searching on the internet i find devices but i'm confused if they do what i am wanting.

    Why not hook the computer to the tv? Depends on the ports of the computer and the tv I guess. To stream wireless will take alot I would think. Kinda curious what devices do this and how they work. Guess you could use 2 routers maybe and hook one to the tv though a port somehow.

    Sorry Im a little clueless, whats that supposed to mean? Is that a converter or tool you use?

    you'd be better off hooking up your computer to the TV keep in mind if the TV shows are low quaility no matter how you do it they are going to look like crap, a program that i've used to put shows to DVD is Nero 7 Platinum edition.

    For a show to look DECENT on a T.V. it needs to be a Minumim of 150-200MB file if your files are lower than 80MB and the show is 30minutes long, there is nothing you can do.

    Will the sling box work as it goes from the tv to another device. He downloaded the show and wants to put it on the tv from the computer.

    no i want to have the computer anywhere in the house, and i could watch the shows on a computer far away from it. so i need it to be through the router. slingbox - i thought that was for watching your cable tv signal over the internet from any computer?

    I just use an old pos computer connected to my tv. All that computer does is store movies, tv, shows, and music. I can stream everything from my good computer in my room to the pos computer in the living room wirelessly.
