full exhaust going 2 devour my mpg?
Just bought a 99 ta with full exhaust and a stealth cam..a4. Its replacing my wrecked 98 ws6 with a m6 that was completly stock which got 17mpg. Anyone know what kind of mpg to expect out of this? Im gone on vacation so wont be back home to my car for two weeks but im still curious...

full exhaust will actually help your gas mileage, that particular cam might lose you a tiny bit of gas mileage and you will never get as good of gas mileage as an M6 however that 17mpg seems mighty low for being stock.. do you do a ton of stop and go type traffic?

the cam will hurt your MPG more than having a full exhaust will...
come to think of it, this is the 1st thread i have ever seen where an F-body owner has ever been concered about MPG and mods...

Since my headers and tune I have actually picked up about 2-3mpg or the equivilant of an extra 60 miles to the tank. That is when I keep my foot off the gas. I'm pulling alittle over 22mpg around town. I'm not really sure how or why but I a very pleased with my mpg. For a 400hp motor to pull 22mpg you can't complain about that.
