How much can the stock LS1 block hold?
Just wondering if you guys had any idea how much our blocks can hold before they crack.
I've been told 550 but that seems too low IMO.
Thnx

I know someone that was using a huge shot of nitrous on there car and was making 600RWHP and it took them like two years to blow it up. It all depends on the tune ect. on to how long there going to be able to hold the power.

I would put it safely at 550 but once you go past that you have to start getting after the bottom end to be safe. It is commonly known that the stock connecting rod bolts are a very weak link on the bottom end.
