Scan Tool
I figured i would post up some feedback on this product, i just picked up a Actron scan tool, model cp9180,
Im completely satisfied and somewhat impressed, It gives you full readouts, and allows you to check all systems and freeze frame on several sensors.
It takes a 9v battery and stores the data you logged and you can review it later.
J2001 SS, Its not the car its the Driver that matters....

I wanna echo the review on this item - bought one today and it works great!
Backlit screen, reads and defines codes on the spot, robust features and easy to use. I cleared a SES light with it in seconds. The mechanic would have charged me probably the price of this tool to diagnose it, and then an arm and a leg for unnecessary repairs.
Also, it does OBDII state emissions tests, readiness monitor readouts. This thing is SWEET, go buy one.

have you tried to record live data with it yet? I did once but didn't really save it to look at later on. I was in the woods camping and just playing with it. I'd like to see what it'd look like if you moved to to a pc in .csv format.
