New Wheels. Model 68. What Do You Think?
Here are some shots of my new wheels. What do you think? These are the Model 68's from Discount Tire. Wheels are 18 x 9 (the widest available) with 45mm positive offset, and the tires are Bridgestone Potenza 275/35/18. Decided on the Potenza because it's a quality tire that looks good. A wider rear tire would be nice, but the 9 inch width limited me to the 275's. Besides, tire prices begin to skyrocket once you go wider than 275.
After mounting the wheels I decided to paint the calipers. Just couldn't resist the red, although I may switch over to black. Anyway, I am happy with the way the paint turned out.
Mods to the car so far are:
adjustable springs for 1.5" drop
4:11 (or was it 4:10?) rear gears
Loudmouth cat back exhaust
skip shift disabled
What's Next:
Pro 5 shifter (I am forever missing the 2-3 shift)
Stinger stripe for the hood
Induction mods to engine
