Ls1 Edit wont do you any good unless you know how to use it. Do you have any mods? How did you gut the cats? Gutting your cats shouldnt cause an issue. How do you know its missing? Are you throwing any codes? you said the problem started after you gutted the cat? Did you mess with your front two 02 sensors?

Sounds like a 02 sensor went south and it is either flooding it or it is lean as shit.....

had a code random misfire. I replaced the air temp sensor, it was running much better, then I gutted the cats now its running alot worse, very rich. To gut the cats i took them off and completely hollowed them. I didn't touch the front o2 sensors.

you say "before it gets up to temp". Does that mean that once it gets up to temp it runs better? The front O2's aren't used the first few minutes after a start up. I see you have edit but no license. You can go to carputing.com and download the beta logger for edit and give that a try. I'm 99.9% positive you don't need the license to read or log a car, just to flash. I never used that logger but it's supposed to at least function. Log misfires, Engine Coolant Temp, B1S1 and B2S1 O2's, long term fuel trims, and MAF airflow at a minimum. I'm sure there's something else I should tell you to log but I can't think of anything right now. I'd be interested to see what your ECT is doing and your fuel trims. Log that stuff along with anything else you can think of then export it as a .csv file and either post it here or email it to me. ibzrg6@aol.com

no, at carputing's website you can download their data logger (beta scanner). It's been in beta form for about 2 years now. Download that and get a scan of the vehicle while it's running. The instructions should be at the website.
