Is my mind playing tricks on me?? (Magnaflow installed today)
Just had it installed. First impression ---
Very good sound.
Not sure if it is my mind is playing tricks on me with the new sound, but it feels like I may have lost alittle low end? Could that be true?, Or am I just use to the other sound making me think the car feels different when it really doesn't?
Obviously the best way to find out is to take it to the track. (but the thing is I think I have improved my driving skills tons since I was at the track) so I expect to lower my 1/4 from 13.76 to at least 13.3 just based of of knowing my car better now So it will really be hard to tell if the exhaust helped at all.

With a great-flowing catback like the magnaflow, you probably did lose some low-end torque, but picked up more mid-range power. I don't know how noticeable it actually is, but its a possibility. I have never really felt a difference before and after my bolt-ons. Maybe a bit with the longtubes, but all the other ones, not so much.

Yepp yepp, after my magnaflow instail i did notice a lil bit of low end loss but like said above it did pull a bit harder in mid range, But after i instailed my cutout i get the best of both worlds and dont even remember what the magnaflow sounded like..
J2001 SS, Its not the car its the Driver that matters....
