    Need help with Navigator...

I am replacing the rotors on a 2003 Navigator. The problem is that I cannot take the rotor off. I have removed the pads and the caliper along with the bracket. There are no washers holding the rotor in place. Has anyone ever taken them off? I have tried to hit the back of them but no go.

heheh Its the same with expeditions. Best thing to do is sledgehammer. Seriously though i have an expedition and its the same deal. You just have to beat on it like hell. Might want to spray like wd 40 or PB around the hub to loosen up things

Yeah had the same thing with my Lightning, just spraqy the rotor down with penitrating lube and the hit it with a hammer going around the rotor, it will eventually pop loose of the rust

You don't need a sledgehammer LOL! I use a 40oz mallet and just convince them to loosen up. Some are so rusted you'll actually need to hit the face of the rotor so hard that the of the rotor cracks - which makes removal very easy. Don't be afraid to hit it...
