macs are mid lengths if you are going to do headers do long tube headers (lt's) and pacesetter is the way to go.

Pewter metallic- 2000 Camaro SS
Macs are very good mid-length headers. If you don't ever plan on putting a cam in your car, they would be fine for what you what.
If you plan to cam your car in the future, to see the maximum potential from the cam, you would want long tube headers instead of the mid-lengths.

I'll put a cam in when i rebuild the motor (after it blows up). How is the Pacesetter long tubes? What y pipe shoul I get? The car has to pass emissions, should I just get an ORY and save the stock pipe and put it back on when I go to emmissions? What mid pype should I get? Need some suggestions.

Your stock y pipe wont work with long tubes. For Pacestters you can use the Pacesetter Y or the Texas Speed y pipe. Ohh and you dont need cats to pass emissions in Md.

If I don't have cats then how am I going to pass? And how much will the hedders and y pipe cost me?

Check some of the sponsors for header options/prices. For emissions, go to F Body Central and get the emissions codes turned off. They dont look under your car, just plug a scanner under your dash to check for codes. No codes, you pass. I passed twice with long tubes, no cats, no air pump, and a lopey cam.

They don't put sensors in the tail pipes here? I turn them off with a scanner?

Who does all your work in Maryland? Where are some good places to bring my car?

You leave the front 02s on, have to or the car wont run. Leave the back ones off or on. You can remove the air system and use block off plates for the air fittings or get race style headers. (no air fittings)

Nothing closer than Baltimore. Do the block off plates come with the hedders?
