Pewter- 2002 Trans Am
Muffler Size??
I'm buying a new muffler soon, and I'm just curious as to what the dimensions need to be. My car is an '02 TA and it's currently totally stock, and I'm just looking to get a louder, deeper sound. I've been reading on here for about an hour and after listening to ls1sounds.com I'm leaning toward the Hooker Aerochamber, but I see there's a 3" inlet/2.5" outlets and a 2.5" inlet/2.25" outlets. So, I just need to know what the diameters are on the stock muffler so I can buy one that will fit right in. Thanks!

My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
any catback can be adapted to fit the current system. I belive the trans am's have 2.25" exhaust, where as the ws.6 has 2.75"
