sqeak noise when steering HELP! :(

hey fellas

lately my car had some killer noise while steering plus the p/s steering resvoir was leakin so i had the p/s pump and resvoir changed but for some reason it still makes the noise only when im driving though if im at a dead stop and i turn the wheel no noise only when im drivng do i hear it.. so im thinkin maybe my rack n pinion is goin out? or after the resvoir leakin for so long did it damage something ?
any help would be good thx in advance

try reving the car up and holding it at like 2-3k and then turning the wheels at a stop, that will tell you if it is a pump or pump componet, because at a moving pace your rps are naturally higher than at idle,

if that doens make the noise it is probably something like your rack and pinion or linkage, just my thoughts i could be wrong

if you replaced the pump and it still makes noise, then most likely the rack and pinion is crapping out on you as well. which is causing the pump to make noise because of the elevated pressure.
