C5 mufflers on f-body?

Hey guys. I've been considering an exhaust for the bird for a while now but the only thing I like is a corsa exhaust for a vette. Right now I've got the poor man's borla which is basically a 1 1/8 inch hole drilled into the pipe right before the muffler. I like it better than any of the fbody exhaust i've heard in person.

I was wondering if any of you guys know if its possible to make the mufflers for a c5 exhaust work underneath an fbody. The corsa I like sounds like a freakin indy car, its like the titanium touring edition or something like that. There are some really good muffler shops around here that could make the pipes if they'll fit, I just wanna know if anyone knows if its even possible. Thanks.

I don't know for sure, but I'm gonna say no. Vette's have thier mufflers behind the axle, splayed out to the sides, it just won't fit under an Fbody's body. Vette's have a totally different sound than fbody's do as well, because of the true dual setup. So replicating it could be a hassle.


You may be able to get away with one muffler though. fab up the pipes for it. It would be single exit, but would about as close as you can get on an Fbody.
