best and cheapest place to buy new LS1
Any one know where they sell low mileage LS1's for the best deal? No i don't want fing ebay!
I got a dealer about an hour from me that has two with less than 50,xxx miles on them for 2000 a piece. Sounds good but also sounds fishy. Awefully cheap. He's a damn car dealer.

Did you leave out a 'zero'?? If really $2,000 then it is salvage or a Katrina victim. You get what you pay for. Run, run away fast!!

Theres no way an ls1 complete car with less than 50,000 miles is $2000. Maybe he meant just ls1 engines?
Otherwise their totalled or something. Even if they were salvaged titles and the cars were fully rebuilt, they wont be $2000.
KBB says a '98 Camaro Z28 with bare minimum options, good condition and 50,000 miles is $7000. And even that sounds a little low to me.

You're right 97PredatorTA. Has to be engines. Even that is too cheap though.

Black- 2001 Trans Am WS6
I think he IS looking for an engine. If he was looking for an LS1 car, he would've specified Trans Am, Camaro, etc. I believe he is looking for the engine itself.
