    Lid

ok heres a dumb question, but when i got my t/a it had a MTI Power Induction lid on it, was that a stock lid or aftermarket like SLP or something?
the rest of it is stock on the induction side, i.e no ported TB or upgraded bellow and the screen is still in the MAF cuz i cleaned it yesterday

oh yeah it has a K&N air filter and breather, i cleaned those today

The MTI is an aftermarket lid.

A lid is a lid. Just make sure it's installed correctly and it should fit fine. The tabs need to be pushed all the way back in the rear and the front of the lid should sit inside of the lower airbox. Make sure the filter is seated in the box all the way as well. I have an MTI lid on mine and it fits perfectly. The MTI lid is actually more expensive than the SLP.

SLP has plenty of fitment issues itself, I think the MTI is usually one of the better ones. Should try to make sure you are latching the lid down properly.
