    long tubes fail performance expectations

I just finished installing dynatech's longtube header system on my 99 formula, and i am somewhat dissapointed w/ the performance results. However, i still have a stock catback exhaust system, and i think that is probably severely hindering the long tubes performance potential. Is this true? I plan to get a cutout soon, so that should let me know for sure. And also, the lowest point of my y-pipe is only 3 inches off the ground on a stock height F-body. is that right? Everything else seems to be running fine though, no check engine lights or anything like that. Any help would be great. thanks.

Yes and yes and yes...how many q's were there again??? 3 inches is normal on height......stock catback and headers??? Why??? Yes cutout will help you greatly, dyno with it open and closed and post up some results, I'm betting you gain 15-20 over stock CB
