95 LT1 automatic at the track...

Last night at the track I was an LT1 Z28 that was running between 14.40 - and 14.50 all night does that sound about right for 95 LT1 auto Z-28?

It was my first time, and I didn't do too much better. I pulled 13.766 in LS1 (first time, and I am in M6)

Honestly your '95 should do better than that, low 14's with the A4. 14.4-14.5 is darn slow despite what anyone tells ya. My current '93 is an A4/3.23, and bested a 14.0@99 Bone-stock.

Track conditions and such might have something to do with your times. They do seem a tad high, but I wouldn't worry about it too much. After some bolt-ons, you'll be good to go.

everyone seems confused. I was asking about 95 z28 automatic..

because It ran 3 passes 14.5 14.6 and 14.5 again.

I have a 02 WS6 M6 - my best was 13.76 -- (it was my first time) i posted my video, because someone asked about my time.

sorry for the confusion - I don't know the DA sorry.

Umm...your other thread just got locked for starting this crap...are you trying to get in trouble??

Thats great that someone at the track managed to pull a 14.5 in an automatic LT1, but I don't see how its relevent to anything. Most LT1's run low 14's, many guys with the M6 have managed to break into the 13's bone stock. Your example of a car thats either in poor condition or a crappy driver does not prove anything. And to make you happy, yes, I believe you, I never said I didn't. I called you out on the Evo, because no bone stock Evo runs a 13.00. Either the car wasn't stock or it didn't run a 13.00, so either way you are lying about that, even if you aren't intentionally doing so.

bone stock my 97 M6 ran a 13.9, with 70,000 miles on it. And you are correct about evo's 13.00 stock i dont think so (anything is possible i guess) a 14.5 with a 95 is pretty much about the average i hear from people. But like i said before anything is possible.

My appologies, I am a grown man, I don't see a need to "battle" via the internet either. I think I solved this issue via PMs.

I simply don't like being called a liar. I wanted to defend myself, because I do plan to turn to this forum for questions and answers, and share my experiences with my WS6. If someone calls me a liar, I think it could lower my reputation, and I may not get the help I need here. Or I may not be able to buy or sell things here for my LS1 on this site.

Bottom line-- I stated what I saw, I was called a liar, so I posted the videos I shot of it.

Wait A Minute -- Did a moderator just refer to us as idiots??? Welp, looks like i'm going to Tahiti for a while And for the record, a good running LT1 will run quicker than a 14.5 despite any year. Anything slower than a 14.3, and you need to either check the car or the driver. I've been racing these cars for 8 years now and that is downright ridiculing this legendary car for someone to say that that's about average.

My 95 T/A A4 ran 13.96 bone stock with 50k on her in 2001 when I bought it. 1st pass I ever made down a track. Track temps were around 60 degrees. After that it consistantly ran 13.9's that night. I ran it another night when track temps were in the 80's... picked up about 3 tenths. Its all about the conditions man.

My bone stock 95' A4 would run a 14.0flat consistantly. Unless the track was crappy then a 14.2 or whatever depending on the track...

Car had 140,000miles and was abused daily Im sure it ran better when it was younger..

You must not know about DA..... I raced a few LT1 F-body's, none of which ever beat me on the street while I was running low 14s. 14.5 sounds completely legit in July weather.... A bone stock LT1 is not running a 13.9 right now. That equates to a 13.5 at least come fall weather. Possible yes, but HIGHLY unlikely.
