I just bought (2) 12's for a custom box being built to replace my back seats in my Z28. What power amp do you recomend to run both of these subs?
    I like Rockford Fosgate's. I was considering the P450.2 or 650.2.

Rockford is good, but I will never recommend them. Too pricy for what you get ya know. JBL or Infinity amps are MUCH better bang for the buck, plus they are just as clean, maybe even cleaner than Rockford. Another amp I suggest is US Amps, but not any of the newer ones. Ive had nothing but good things from them.

if you enjoy running 20 watts through your sub, it'll sound like ass

just because the amp is 2 ohm stable, does not mean the amp has enough power to push the sub properly
