I have not had a chance to go to a dyno yet, but I would like to see what you all think I have for RWHP

2002 TA WS 6 Auto
All free mods: port/polish MAF T/B, Coolent by pass,Lid, bottom of the air box cut out,160stat,Pacesetter headers, Magnaflow cat backs, off road "Y", Tune.

I'm sure someone out there has about the same mods, what's your RWHP??

You have a tune, but no dyno numbers?

Well, my guess is 330's for hp and 340's for torque. If you lock up the converter on the dyno, the numbers should jump +8~10.

Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't the WS-6 come stock with 350 flywheel HP ? If so your mods will add--5Hp for the coolant bypass & T-body----8 HP for the lid--14 HP for the shorty pacesetters----and 8 for the cat-back and Y pipe--17 for the tune = 52 So the total flywheel HP is 402. An automatic transmission has between 17 and 20 % powertrain loss--so if you take the low side and subtract 17% that would put you at 334 RWHP and if you take the high side at 20% that would put you at 321 RWHP.

PS---A M6 on the other hand only has about a 10% powertrain loss

Sounds like my guess...

You have to be careful though...adding mod HP on top of one another isn't always accurate. It's how well the parts work together. Going from a stock lid to an aftermarket lid may be good for 10hp on a stock car, headers alone may be worth 20hp, and a catback by itself may be worth 10hp. But, if you do all at once, it doesn't always mean the end result is stock_HP+10+20+10=new_HP. I think that's a fairly common misconception...

No way shorties given you 14 hp.
