Red Tint Jewelcoat- 2008 Trailblazer SS
Bet you can't guess what opens soon...
Yup....cleaned again.
Little different now though.
Looks like I need to air up the fronts a little bit. Sagging a bit.
Track is opening this weekend. I won't be running for a few more weeks, but it is time to start getting ready.

So do I.
Here it will be tough though.
If I can squeeze an 11.75 out of her I am doing very well. Freaking altitude.
Should have a much more solid driveshaft under her soon as well.

???
Some of the lightest wheels you can get on the car.
Weld Prostar 15x8 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 13.0 (mine are the 15x10, but they are close)
Weld Prostar 15x3.5 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 10.0
American Racing Torq Thrust II 17x9.5 . . . . . . . 24.0
American Racing Torq Thrust II 17x11 . . . . . . . 27.0
Total difference of 54 pounds at just the wheels. Smaller front tires are also much lighter than the 275/40/17. Rotational mass difference is much larger than your average dead weight on a car as well. If I understand it correctly, 54 pounds of rotational mass acts like removing about 250 pounds off the car.
Bogarts are the lightest common wheel. Then the ProStars.
Just for info...
WS6/ZR1 (chrome) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 20.5
10 Spoke SS (painted) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 22.0
10 Spoke SS (chrome) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 23.0
Firehawk (painted) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 22.0
Firehawk (chrome) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 23.0
2000+ Z28/Camaro 16" (painted) . . . . . . . . 17.0
1998 Z28/Camaro 16" (chrome). . . . . . . . . . 21.5
5 Spoke Firebird/Z28 16" (painted) . . . . . . . . 19.5
Those are WITHOUT tires.

I think on motor mine would go tens off the mountain.
Might take a couple things taken out of the car and someone that can actually drive, but I think it has the power.
Just not caging mine. 11.49 is plenty fast for a car that sees 95% street duty.
