super charger questions... lots of em...

I have a pretty much stock 2000 WS6. I was considering supercharging. it has 60K miles on it. With this many miles would it hurt the engine? What is the best supercharger kits for the LS1? and would I have to get a different hood for clearance issues? Last question is. what else should be changed if I were to super charge it. thanks guys.

I've got a maggie, on my GTO, I like it, had to change the hood , to accomodate the 90mm TB. It has more low-end torque than the centrifical s/c you can pm me if you have any (?)'s I'll post some pics if you want, same engine, different platform. Hope it helps.

well you need to think about what kinda power you want first off, 500-550 is were i want to be and i have a P1SC procharger on my car, and im pretty close to that. the one thing it is the most importent isthe fuel system!! and the tune, and with that S/C you will not need a new hood. but you should know that with a stock bottom it it not "if" it blows it "when is it going to blow"
