Simple, they have c-clips built-in to the back of them that just snap in place.
There are no instructions necessary. If you have one in hand & can't figure out how it goes on, ...

    Step by step install:
    http://thecheckeredflagstore.com/frcs_install.php

    A few pointers:

Before you install the fuel rail covers(FRC's) I would recommend covering the backside of them with heat shielding tape. I applied the heat tape to the back of mine for what its worth and I have had them 3 years now I believe.

When you go to install the covers, you obviously want the motor nice and cool.

If you have a STB, it must be removed to install the FRC's. The oil cap & dipstick have to be removed for the passenger side as well. On the driver side, you have to remove all the heat tape on the 2 fuel lines. Do this before you attempt to install the driver's side, or you will chip and scuff up the paint on it. Its not necessary, but it would make the install easier if you just disconnect the fuel lines all together and reconnect them after the FRC has been installed. Thats about all the pointers I can think of. When you are finished it should look something like this:

I don't deserve all the credit for the pointers & write up, I borrowed some of the info from Parbreak who does all the FRC work for Afterthoughts.

Yep that helped a lil. I guess wut I need to know is if its nessasary to cut any of the cover on the back side to make them fit any better. I cant get the front of the passenger side to sit on the fuel rail that well.

is your car automatic or standard? Also do you still have the AIR tubes in place on your headers? Sometimes for the A4's you have to trim a little bit for the tranny dipstick. If its catching on the AIR tube from the headers you can either !AIR or just try and bend the AIR tube out of the way. I know that once I removed mine, it was a night and day differance in installing the FRCs.

Is there anyway you can post a pic of how it currently is? We could probably help you a lot if you could.

The dipstick for the tranny, you have to bend it out of the way, its definately going to cause fitment issues. Also, since you still have the EGR I am assuming you still have the AIR pump and those are your other obstacles. Have you had the codes for the AIR and EGR turned off? If you have pull that stuff out of there and you will have a much easier time installing the FRC's
