What should i get
Ok, So im looking into getting a Formula. But I have to choose between a Blue 99 auto, or a 02 Burgandy mt6 both have 60K miles and about the same price. Both the colors are great, I guess the biggest decision is the drivetrain. Thanks

Black- 2002 Formula Firehawk
I would get the 02 because it is newer and also because from what ive read, there is a different but convenient design in the ls1 engine oil flow from the years of 98-99 and 00-02, also isnt there a different intake in the 01-02 ls1's the ls6 intake right?

The 02 will have an LS6 intake as was mentioned already. Other than that just pick whichever drivetrain you'd rather own. Personally, I'm an auto guy. M6 trannies are fun but it's hard to miss a shift with an auto.

If I were doing it all over again I would stay away from the 98's but that's just me.

02 MRM (Maple Red Metallic) all the way.
Dare to be different, ...
You'd most likely have the only one around.

Im probably going for the maple red metallic. how hard is it to change the plugs on the lt1's and what are the best plugs and wires for it.
oh yeah the MRM is an 02 formula with about 64k miles on it and they want $15,995(ill probably work it down a few k) for it. Do you think that is a good deal?Last edited by RIP SVT; 09-17-2006 at 03:52 PM.

lt1 or ls1 plugs? LS1, have fun with number 8. Best way to get to it is from under the car Or just get LT's and make life easier in the long run. I have a 98, and to be honest, Everything in her now is from an 02 Z06 or aftermarket

My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
i believe the color is Monterey Maple Metallic, not burgandy. Sounds sexier too. I have a blue one, but an m6 would win it for me. Remember, 6 gears = better gas miliage

Decide if you want to have fun on the street with the M6 or to be consistent at the track with the A4. I don't get to the track ever so I wouldn't give up my M6 for anything with an auto! If you havn't already, take both out for a long ride and see which one you like and enjoy more.
