Tire reccomendations??????

I recently bought a 98 camaro z28. The problem is the tires the previous owner put on the car(cheapos). I always liked goodyear tires myself but would like a few opinions before I buy. I want a tire that performs well but since I have a bad back something with a smooth ride as well. I know that may be impossible but thought I would ask. nittos are a smooth ride I think my MT's are a smooth ride but dont last very long at all

Firestone firehawk wide oval. I had pretty good luck with mine.

I tell ya.....before I went stupid on my car I used to run the Bridgestone Potenza RE750's and they were great! They lasted way longer than Goodyears, had great response, and they were way affordable. I purchased them off of www.tirerack.com all the time and had no problems with them! If you're looking for a good all around tire I'd suggest these tires! I was a diehard Goodyear man before I tried these but after I did I never went back to Goodyears again......
