Whistling noise

I have a weird whistling that start once I accelaerate and goes higher until I reach about 20 mph. I cant hear it one I go past that speed.

It sound like its from the engine area.

Any possible clues? Air filter looks clean.

More than likely it is your serpentine belt. It happened to me once. I would replace it and see what happens.

I have an aftermarket lid, which removed the silencers, and I have a whistling noise upon acceleration.

If not that it could be a vaccume leak.

Do 02's have the air pump? because my 00 will make that noise until the pump cycles off and with the breather filter because of the aftermarket lid it is loud.

i know most CAI kits create a whistling noise, so id bet it has something to do with ur intake

Ive had lid and filter for years and no problems. This just started a month ago now.

Does that help any?

If its a belt, isnt 37,000 miles to early for that?
