Need some advice

I decided I want to put a decent stereo system in my car and need advice on amps and subs. I want a Alpine head unit, infinity door speakers and sail panel speakers, Rockford fosgate sub amp and RF subs. I already have a RF amp to push the door and sail panel speakers. I want to spend about $2,000-2500 at the most. Any reccomendations? my main problem is picking the right subwoofer amp and the right ohm subwoofers. I would like to run 2 subwoofers. Are you set on RF? Why?

How much of the budget is for amp/sub? (since that seems to be where you question is)

Well I just always really liked Rockford Fosgate stuff. I am 35 years old and back when I was into stereos I had RF. I never had a problem with RF ever. I always thought they made quality stuff. Alpine is another name that I always used back then and never had a problem with. I put a RF amp/subs in my truck 3 years ago and am really happy with it. The thing is- I got 2-8 ohm subs and didnt realize about the right ohms for the amp but I lucked out. This time I wanna make sure I get the proper ohm subs to get the max power from the amp. As far as money I would guess around $1000.00 bucks. What amps do you like? I appreciate your time/help.

I'm really happy with my Alpine PDX 1.1000. I would recommend it to you. It does 1000 watts RMS at 2 or 4 ohms.

I got mine for $430 off ebay, but if you buy it in stores it's $850.

fosgate went down hill for a long time but now have rebounded i recommend the fosgate p2 sub for your car not heavy on power or wallet just a nice sounding sub just watch what you buy retail stores dont always sale the same quailty equip you can get a local dealer its cheaper for a reason also if you need a head unit i have a flip out tv dvd cd radio turner it a jvc $600 retail is 1500
