I am 99.9% sure that if you haven't clay barred your white Z recently/ever, that it will make a huge difference. Claying should be done 1-2 times a year, depending on how much its driven.

Right before you clay your car, run your hand over the hood(or any part of the car) and it usually won't feel very smooth. After claying the car, run your hand over it again, and it will feel unbelievably smooth.

Its always best to hand wash the car with Dawn dish soap prior to claying, the Dawn cuts all the old wax and gives you a fresh surface to work with.

not to be mean but you should never use dish soap on your cars paint because it not only takes wax off but it also weakens the paint over time FYI. but handwashing is still the best prep

Nice 3rd gen! I always loved the black 3rds. What brand of clay do you prefer or recommend? I would like to do my car now that the weather is getting nice.

My car has 5 coats of wax on it. Will claying it one time strip all the coats? Can you still wax the car afterwards?
