    SLP="Upgraded Suspension Componments"=??

    On my 99 the SLP Alteration Package sheet/sticker lists "Upgraded Suspension Componments", what exactly does this include?

    Anyone know?

    No bilstein

    Yeah, mine does have the auburn posi listed has a seperate line item, but I was just questioning what the suspension was. I just left the tire shop to have some nails removed and while all of the tires/wheels were off I checked the shocks; they are the stock gm "decarbon" shocks (what ever that means?), my guess is now shot @ 54k miles so no bilsteins for me, sorry to say.

    I thought SLP upgraded the front and rears sways and poly bushings, but I am not positive.
    Stock firehawk, 32mm front, 19mm rear
    Bilstein and 1LE, 35mm front, 21mm rear

    The Auburn, Bilstein, 1LE were all Firehawk/SS options, not standard content.

    All the info I've seen states that the standard Firehawk suspension is no different than a WS6 set up except that the Hawks have the stiffer 1LE panhard bar.
    The Bilstein kit adds progressive rate springs and Bilstein shocks
    The 1LE kit also comes with Koni's

    I have a 99 SS and I picked up a set of 1LE springs, is there any difference from the SS springs?
