    Car wont start......

I had a new battery installed 3 months ago. My car is dead in the garage and wont make any noise at all when trying to start the engine.

Trying to jump it was unsuccessful. Does this mean it is a starter issue? What is the cost of a starter?

There may be a problem with the ignition switch or connecting wiring.
problem with the starter motor or starter solenoid. when you switch ignition ON the engine computer runs the fuel pump for a few seconds to pump initial gas pressure. You can hear it from the gas tank area - it's like a buzzing sound. It's not very loud and the gas pump works only for a second or two after switching the ignition ON, so you may need someone's assistance checking this. If there is no buzzing sound, something might be wrong with the fuel pump or its electrical circuit.
New starters 80-120 + core I'm sure there are better deals out there.

    thanks for reply.

There is absolutely no electric at all, not even the remote works.

Does this narrow it down to alternator or battery?

Most electrical problems are caused by poor connections. First step; remove clean and tighten the terminals and check the battery voltage after you get the cables off

    It was my battery cable!!!

The corrosion didnt let the positve get flow to battery.

I took it off, cleaned it, and now everything is perfect.

The cable looks a bit beat up but I was told to apply vaseline to terminal ends to prevent future corrosion.
