different hood wtf??
Why is this hood different then mine?!?!?
see the difference?
See how mine curves back in by the cowl, whats up with that, is it cuz its a 01 i dont think they were different?!? it looks like a 97 SS style i kinda like the one on the pewter SS

oh thats a special hood that only the fairy gnomes furnish at night......i bought mine off this guy for 200 bones...for some reason the ss hood is 2 inches bigger than the rest...

That is not a OEM hood on that SS, thats why its different than yours. That is more like the LT1 SS hood instead of the LS1 SS hood.

y2k, yea thats what i thought. i just like how is sticks up by the cowl so you can see it when ur driving, ours curves back in and almost flush with the back of the hood, know what i mean
then theres this hood, this is too high....

I saw that hood on a 9 second HOSS in GM High Tech. always thought it was a nice hood for being a mix of an SS hood and a cowl hood.

Le Mans Blue- 2004 Z16
That is a Suncoast Creations SS hood. I have one on my 2000 Z28. It is very similar to the LT1 SS hood, but (duh!) fits the 1998+ body. As an added bonus, it is extremely lightweight...
