    Thumbs down Looks like my fuel pump took a crap. Cheap place to but another one?

    My car didn't start again and I've been having problems with it off and on. I had it towed today and they said it was the fuel pump. The estimate was about $1100! That's about 1/5th the value of the car. I really don't know what the hell to do. They are going to store my car for free for a couple of months until I figure out if it's worth repairing. Anyone know a place to buy an inexpensive fuel pump? I'm going to call the usual suspects on Monday. (Advance, Vato Zone, Car Quest, etc.) This really sucks. I could do ALOT with the $1000 it would cost to fix my car.

    yup, check with harris speed works and get a racetronix kit. Save some major cash.
