    Broke My Headlight Bolts!!!???

    I overtightened and broke my two passenger side headlight bolts. The only way to get new ones from GM is to buy the entire headlight assembly. Anyone have some lying around???

    They are the two bolts that hold it in place and allow it to pivot up and down. They have a sleeve around them and I would also need the nuts.

    Couldn't you take one to an ACE or something and see if they have something that match or would work? Just a thought. I can't stand how GM does that, it is another way to rip someone off.

    Take the old bolts to your local parts store and see if you can find what your looking for. If all else fails call a few junkyards and see what you can come up with.

    For anyone else having this problem, I just bought 2 of them from HawksThirdGenParts.com Price was a little steep but it's OEM. $30 Shipped.
