I would like some input choosing my next fish for my aquarium
Trying to decide between a arowana, tigerfish or motoro stingray. I'm pretty dead locked between the three, and I only have room for one. It's for a 75 gallon tank which already has a oscar and florida gar. If any of you guys have had these let me know what's up.

ive had arrowannas before man they are awesome i would look into a care sheet on them tho you need to have a secure top with them cuz they can jump out i always thought of gettin a stingray i always see them at my lfs but i went with have community tanks of small cichlids ive raised oscars and big fish my whole life but having small cichlids and building a community tank has been awesome but yeah i would just search for some caresheets on both good luck

I voted Arowana, but I'd say the stingray would be a cool choice too. Both are pretty massive. Good thing you've got a big tank. The Arowana would be less cramped I think.

why not black or red bellied pirhanas? i had 7 red bellies and they were really great fish... just don't let the electric go out... they are fragile...

They're tough but so skittish. Scared of everything. Maybe you had red bellied pacu. My parents dumped mine in a big tank in the garage during the winter when I left, water got really cold and some started going belly up, but when I got back during break and put them inside, they came back to health.

i would not recommend a 75 for any of those
arowana is more like 250 (type dependent), tiger fish well... dont know, and the sting ray i would say more like a 125...
fish like that need HUGE tanks man... i mean i guess you can do what you want... but actually in my opinion you need a bigger tank just for what you have...
go to www.fishforums.com and drop the question there... they always give good advice... i jsut think sticking all that in a 75 is like putting 20 psi to a stock motor... yeah i guess it might work for a bit, but its just never gonna do like it should...
www.liveaquaria.com usually has descent info also
